About

Yoga

Yoga is not an act of performance; it is a sovereign return to oneself. With a background rooted in Kripalu Yoga, I guide students away from the 'noise' of the external world and toward the Middle Path of stability and self-regulation. My teaching is built on the principle of Brahmacharya—the wise use of energy—helping you build a practice that is substantial, rhythmic, and deeply restorative. We don't practice to fit into a pose; we practice to inhabit our own lives with more clarity and strength.

Personal Growth

I believe that true healing and lasting change arise from a place of deep self-awareness and compassionate presence. I offer a unique approach to personal growth that integrates yoga, meditation, and mindfulness-based coaching to guide you on a journey of profound self-discovery.

My philosophy is rooted in the principle of mindfulness: the understanding that real transformation occurs not through force, but through gentle awareness. By cultivating a state of relaxed, non-judgmental attention, we can access the root causes of our habitual thoughts, feelings, and behaviors – material often hidden from traditional talk therapy.

Every emotion serves an evolutionary purpose, urging us toward an action that protects our survival, aligns with our values, or demands our growth....

Stop Being Nice: How Niceness Kills Intimacy
Confessions of a People Pleaser Recently, I was chatting with a friend about a dating experience. At one point, she stopped me and said, "That’s the seventh time you’ve said, 'But he’s so nice.'" It stopped me in my tracks and got me thinking about niceness—his, my own, and what the word actually means. Niceness is not about them. It’s about you. Niceness isn't a reflection of a person's capacity for a healthy relationship; it is a public relations campaign for the ego. It’s about how a...

You Are Enough: How I Used Ancient Yogic Wisdom to Stop People-Pleasing
For most of my life, I lived by a single strategy: perform to be enough. Perform smart. Perform happy. Perform pretty. Perform nice. Occasionally, I’d succeed in convincing someone I was enough. But then I was stuck in a pickle—because now I had to maintain the performance. I’d replay interactions over and over in my head, worrying I’d said the wrong thing, worn the wrong outfit, or upset someone. I’d rehearse what I’d say next time, constantly prepping my next performance. Despite my success...
